Baby Blake and I are doing great and I have loved spending time with him. It has only been a month and a half but he is getting big and chunky! I enjoyed spending time with my son, but I have also missed being with all of you! I hope that you all had a fabulous 7 weeks and your holidays were full of happiness and joy. As I look around the room and at your work, I know you have been working hard!
Today we will start a new unit in math. In the next couple of weeks we will be working on developing our fact power! Today, we will think of math addition + facts, record (write) some addition facts, and complete a math box page. Whew! we will be busy! You have computer today. In writing, we will make sure we are writing and creating during the whole writing workshop. In reading, we will fill out our contracts and put 5 more words on the word wall.
Your specials are PE and Computer. Lunch is chicken strips.
